My horoscope told me...
I met up with Julie in Degerloch. We had an amazing brunch and then I rushed over to Vivi's house. It was awesome to catch up. I played with her baby and then got to meet her sister's newborn. I've been tired, tired, tired and I have to pee all the time and my boobs huuuuuuuurt, I have headaches, blah blah blah. As I was playing with the babies, I said to Vivs, "I want one of these things." She joked about how much I've been peeing and stuff and said, "Well, you very well may get one in nine months." Please... Gods... NO! That would be awesome, wouldn't it? No healthcare, already overwhelming medical bills and a bastard baby in my womb in which I would give the middle name 'Snow'. >.< Just kidding, guys. That would never happen. I'm just exhausted. Also, Barack Obama wrote to me last night... finally! After I addressed the problems in our health care and what exactly is going to be done for Americans working for the government overseas. In the end? He skimmed the initial question and gave me a very generic answer. It's better than nothing though, right? Dear Breanna:
Thank you for writing. I have been moved by the stories of Americans struggling with health care, and I appreciate your perspective. It is because of the many men and women facing frustration, hardship, and financial burden in addition to significant health problems that we worked so hard to get health reform done.
I am working diligently every day to address the hardships people like you continue to face. Across our Nation, families are grappling with many difficult issues, including family illness, job losses, difficulty in paying the mortgage or rent, and staggering medical bills. It took many years to create our Nation’s current challenges, and it will take time to bring about the changes our families need—but I will continue to do everything in my power to help all Americans live out their dreams.
As we work together to improve the lives of all our citizens, please know the trials and triumphs of Americans like you motivate my Administration to work even harder to overcome the challenges before us. I am confident we will emerge from these tough times stronger than before with a renewed promise of a better future for all.
Again, thank you for contacting me. I wish you all the best.
Sincerely,
Barack Obama
Ooooh, oooh. What else? I got Dandelion Wine by Ray Bradbury in the mail yesterday. I can't wait to read it. I just have to finish these other 8 books first. :( One at a time, am I right?
Ok, one last thing. I have finally started my new weaning experiment with seroquel. I started 25 mgs last night. (I was originally on 100-200) The 50 still knocked me out but I didn't sleep as soundly as usual. Wish me luck!

Weekend. Awesome.
I am pretty stoked to be catching up on my z's this weekend. I feel old saying that. I havent even been 29 for a full week. Needless to say, I have been undeniably busy. I work about ten hour days, except yesterday when I got plagued with a mega migraine around 1100. I remember looking at the clock at work and in my left eye was a prism of rainbows dancing in zig zag lines. Uh oh! Time for a cocktail of pain relievers, ginger, omega 3, dramamine and imitrex. I was pretty useless for the remainder of the day.
However, all signs were pointing to health despite a phlegmy cough and a runny nose and I had the kids for a good nine hours today. Thank the good gods. I also dj'd my playlists for the children all day. Good tunes? Good times! Lets bang this last day out. Done!
I had therapy for the first time in over a month and many a things to go over with David. How do I differentiate between ideals and legitimate wants? The weaning process was also discussed and he assures me, that I am still doing very well. I just need to make lists, practice emotion regulation and prioritize. I think I am doing pretty well. One could only hope, right?
I don't think I am bummed and if I am? I certainly don't have any time to let it phase me so it hasn't.
I have a few plans for tomorrow before noon. A big breakfast with Julie and Mia and then a lunch date with Vivi and Neo. I don't feel particularly social at the moment but I suppose tomorrow will tell.

I could sleep for days
Ten and a half hour shifts are slaying me. I woke up several times last night screaming and in a cold sweat. I couldn't tell you what I dreamt, try as I might.
Our govt is being threatened with furlough too, so that is just awesome. Pah. Lets just sleep it off.

London is Lovely.
The first day wasn't that great because I stayed at the airport from 11am to 11pm. (Long story, Tony's car got totalled on the freeway) But I made a nice friend, a London gal, and we chatted for an hour or so in the airport and ended up getting dinner. It was pretty neat and definitely helped pass the time. That, and I at least could text David and Niki. I had music and plenty of books.
I ended up getting ill at the airport, fevery and super irritable and by the time Tony showed up I was breaking out in hives and super duper nauseous. I pretty much got to his place around 2am and slept in the room on the third floor and didnt come down until 2pm. I slept so hard.
The next day was dedicated to resting. Some Samurai Champloo, music discussing and overall catching up after ten years. We picked up Niki that night (my English friend that used to live in Stuttgart) and she's been sharing the room upstairs with me. (oh, Brady, the puppy has been sleeping between us. I love it!)
We all trekked down to London today. We had a late start because of illegal parking of people in town. So we didn't knock off everything on our Sat plan but it was good fun nonetheless. We saw the West Hamm stadium and then went to the Doctor Who shop and museum!!! Niki and I were in heaven! The shop owner was super rad too! Then we went to the oldest pub, hit up some Harry Potter landmarks, and went on a Jack The Ripper walking tour. Part of it was in the famous Diagon Alley. Soooooo fun! I know it all sounds super nerdy but I loved it and I had a blast!
Niki and Tony are drinking downstairs and I am reading in bed. London tuckered me out. Camden Market tomorrow? More bday celebrating? We will see. I am fine with being a bed bum.
