One may ask themselves what my intent is, then. I feel that it's pretty obvious. Writing the thoughts out of my brain is a therapeutic way for me to acknowledge them and to dismiss them once they're out. I'd also like to capture all aspects of my life, whether they difficult, euphoric or confusing... I want them all there so I can always remember how it was... how far I've come and to notice my patterns when I'm regressing.
It's a way I can be honest with my child and to show her what it was like for me to bring her into the world.
For others, I just want to prove that things like PPD does happen and maybe my testimonials will shed light on the fact that they are not alone and that it's ok and if it isn't... it will be.
Writing here for years has helped me realize that things do get small once again... it reminds me that I can be strong, even when I'm not always and definitely... definitely that I'm harder to break than I thought I once was.
